How do I access the CIS Online service?
As a new user, tick the checkbox for Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) in the HMRC: New User page, click the 'Next' button then follow the instructions on the page.
Once you've signed up for and activated the CIS Online service, you'll be able to log in to the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) services and choose the software you want to use. You can either choose the HMRC free CIS Online product or any of the 3rd party software products listed which have passed the HMRC testing procedures.
Please Note - You might have to wait up to 48 hours after activating the service to file a return or verify subcontractors using HMRC software.
