As a scheme administrator, can I view an individual's lifetime allowance certificate?
Scheme administrators might have to view an individual's lifetime allowance certificate if something happens that triggers the payment of pension benefits. This is called a benefit crystallisation event.
Individuals can authorise a scheme administrator to be able to view their certificate(s) for a period of 90 days by sending a letter or completing form APSS 203. The scheme administrator will be able to view the lifetime allowance certificate when the authorisation request has been completed by HM Revenue and Customs.
