How do i update my contact details?
It's really important that your contact details are kept up to date. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) can then confirm your submission receipt by email and you can also get new passwords online.
To update your contact details, login to HMRC Online services and select 'Your account' from the main menu on the left.
To update your email address for confirmation of your submission receipt and new online password select 'Change details'.
To update your email address used by HMRC to send general messages or change your account name and telephone number, select 'Update personal details'.
