How do I find out if I had an underpayment included in my tax code?
This information can be found on your last PAYE Coding Notice (P2) for the year of the Tax Return.
Look for 'tax underpaid for an earlier year' included as a restriction in the code and for an 'estimated underpayment' which has been included in a future year's tax code.
