You do not have to claim foreign tax credit relief but it is usually to your advantage to do so. Please enter the amount of foreign tax taken off for which you are not claiming tax credit relief. You can claim for foreign tax you have already paid on your income as long as you are not claiming Foreign Tax Credit Relief. You cannot claim both.
