If you received, for example, any UK bank, building society, unit trust interest, select 'Yes', otherwise select 'No'.

Also select 'Yes' instead of completing the 'Foreign' section of the return, if your only foreign income was either or both:

• untaxed foreign interest up to £2,000
• taxed foreign dividends up to £2,000
