UK Property 38 - Rent a Room exempt amount

If you have included any Rent a Room income over the Rent a Room exempt amount in your return, enter the Rent a Room exempt amount you are claiming, either £7,500 or £3,750, if the property is let jointly.

If you claim the Rent a Room relief, you cannot also deduct any expenses or capital allowances or claim the property income allowance on Rent a Room income.
