1187 - Relief claimed

Usually you will be given tax relief, through the PAYE system, for your payments to an employer's compulsory scheme to provide a pension to your spouse or civil partner, or financial support for your children, in the event of your death. Very occasionally, for example if you have to make a lump sum contribution to the scheme on your retirement, you do not get all the relief you are entitled to through PAYE. The maximum relief you can have is £100 at the basic rate of 20% (£20). Work out the tax relief you have not been given and enter here (up to the maximum £20).
