Full time education

By full-time education we mean an average of more than 12 hours supervised study a week during normal term time, not counting breaks for meals and homework. Examples of courses of further education are:

• GCSEs and qualifications up to and including A level
• National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level 1, 2 or 3
• BTEC National Diploma, National Certificate and 1st Diploma
• SCE higher, or advanced higher grade or equivalent.
