VAT Registration Number or Economic Operator Registration and Identification (EORI) number

The VAT Registration Number is the nine-digit number supplied when you registered for VAT. For example, 123456789.

UK EORI numbers start with the letters GB. Most are followed by a twelve digit number based on the Economic Operator’s nine digit suffix number at the end, for example GB123456789000.
