Examples of Residential property or land

• commercial property, for example shops or offices
• agricultural land

• any other land or property which is not used as a residence

Example of Mixed Use

• a 'mixed use' property is one that has both residential and non-residential elements. For example, a flat connected to a shop, doctor's surgery or office

Example of an Indirect disposal of UK land

• an indirect disposal occurs when a non-resident sells shares in a company that derives 75% or more of its gross asset value from UK land
