Description
A water-based, reddish, durable refractory paste. The die coating has been specifically designed to be used as a base (primer ) for the application of insulated top coatings. It is usually applied in the production of aluminium, gravity & low-pressure die castings, for example automotive wheels. The paste produces a textured red coating providing a base for superior adhesion of the insulated top coating. The coating has been designed to have a strong red colour to give clear indication when the insulated top coating has become worn and needs to be reapplied. The product gives excellent protection to the die in high volume production applications such as automotive wheels. To be applied using a standard compressed air spray gun from a distance of approximately 30 to 40cm from the die face, ensuring a light even coating. Material is packaged according to customer specification.
