A Glass Spray Roving, an assembled roving manufactured with 40 strands of continuous filament glass fibres of defined diameter into a cylindrical roving package with a silane-based sizing. The roving package has a linear density of 2400 tex. The loss of ignition is between 0.8% and 1.2% (ISO 1887). It is characterized by a good chop ability, low fuzz and uniform splitting during chopping. It is used mainly as a reinforcement of unsaturated polyester resins via spray-up technology for items such as boats, water tanks, shower trays. Packaged on bobbins with shrink film wrap in cardboard boxes
