Description
A fire pump system with complete accessories. The components used to produce the package of fire pump system consists of pumps, driver, controllers, with the accessories mounted on a single base frame. It is also made up of a jockey pump, diesel engine and an electric motor. These are all parts of the finished pump, and they are put together to form the final product. One of the parts to this pump are pressure gauges, and these gauges measure the pumping out pressure, and measuring devices are a part of the overall system. The fire pump itself is a centrifugal pump, is a single stage pump used for firefighting application, and the discharge outlet exceeds 15 mm. When a building's normal water supply is insufficient to support fire protection systems, this fire pumps play a crucial role in ensuring adequate water flow and pressure. This is especially important in high-rise buildings or those located far from municipal water sources. The fire pumps help deliver water to sprinkler systems, standpipes, and other firefighting equipment, allowing them to operate effectively during a fire emergency. The pump is installed on the fixed frame on the floor. After successful completion of performance testing, all the necessary connections between controllers and drivers is done at the factory prior to shipment. The automatic air release valve, casing relief valve, suction gauge and discharge gauge are mounted on fire pumps and other accessories are mounted on pre-constructed interconnecting piping as required by NFPA 20. Pressure sensing lines are pre-installed on Electric, Diesel, and Jockey Controllers also as per NFPA 20 requirements.
