- Description
- Wooden medals made from a soft poplar plywood. The medal comes with a bespoke design lasered into it. The size of the medal can be vary from 30mm up to 120mm. It is designed to be worn around the neck and is attached to a polyester ribbon, which can either be sewn through a ribbon loop or attached with a metal clip. The ribbon is 25/38mm wide and 32inches long. It is used in presentations to commemorate an event.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: - General Interpretative Rules (GIR)s: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, Reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (Reg 3(1)(a)); and b. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)). GIR 1 - has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 7117 - Imitation jewellery. GIR 6 - has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 711790 - Other than of base metal, whether or not plated with precious metal. Also classified in accordance with: Harmonized System Explanatory Notes (HSEN) to Chapter 71 - Note 9 (a) and Note 11. Harmonized System Explanatory Notes (HSEN) to heading 7117.
