An Audio Control Panel (ACP), which is found in the cockpit of civil aircraft.
The ACP has knobs or buttons to allow selection of which ‘radio box’ to receive, the reception volume, whether the reception is via the speaker or headset, which ‘radio box’ to transmit on, and which microphone to use for the transmission.
These controls are not solely for radio communication frequencies but also for the navigation radio frequencies, aircraft intercom channels and the Public Announcement (PA) system.
