A mechanical structure of the system is made on stainless steel AISI-316L. The scanner is engineered to operate effectively in the demanding meat processing environment. With its advanced technology, the system enhances production efficiency by providing accurate fat measurements and improving quality control. The Fat content is one of the most important parameters to control in the meat industry as they influence the nutritional value and eating quality of the meat. All parts of the system potentially in contact with meat during the operation of the system are made of food-grade materials, including the conveyor belt, and the plastic cover of the inspection tunnel. The system is an innovative Magnetic Induction scanner specifically designed for vertical scanning of meat parts, with a particular focus on hams, within production lines. Its robust design ensures reliability and ease of integration into existing production workflows, making it an essential tool for meat processors aiming to optimize their operations.
