Description
Cleaner, Made from a mixture composed of solvents, components of Ethanol and Butanone, an additive to render it undrinkable. Small amounts of pyridine, isopropyl alcohol, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and methyl isobutyl ketone can be added to make it not only unpalatable, but also toxic for consumption. The product is initially used to clean printer printheads, but may also have other uses as a cleaning agent. Packaged in 1 ltr opaque plastic bottles with a safety screw top and a product description label attached.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, Reg 3(1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (Reg 3(1)(a)). and b. GIR 5b Has been used to identify the type of packaging: 1ltr Plastic bottles. GIR 6 Has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 340250 - preparations put up for retail sale. 8-digit code 34025090 - washing preparations and cleaning preparations. Also classified in accordance with: Harmonised System Explanatory Notes (HSEN’s) to heading 3402 note (II)
